Overview

A petrol pump moves fuel, cash and credit every single shift. Every litre has to match the tank, the meter and the ledger. We built one system where they all agree — and the owner sees the profit in real time.

Generic accounting software does not understand tanks, nozzles or daily fuel prices. This one had to.

Litres must reconcileMeter readings, tank dips and book stock all have to agree — or the gain and loss has to be explained.
Prices change dailyPurchase and sale rates move, so margins, price gain and price loss must be tracked by date.
Many money channelsCash in hand, workshop cash, mobile wallets and card machines each need their own live balance.

Accounting rules

Double-entry Debits always equal credits Journal and bank/cash vouchers show total debit, total credit and the difference before posting.
Posted vs unposted Draft first, post when sure Vouchers stay editable as unposted, and only affect the books once posted.
Locked history No silent edits to the past A tank dip locks once later sales or purchases exist, so stock history stays trustworthy.
Rate-aware Price gain & loss tracked Because rates are stored by date, profit reflects the price that applied on each day.
